Any address ending in .edu. No card and no form: the sign-in link is the check.

What it does

Loupe reads a brief, a memo or a moot court draft and checks every citation in it against the published record: that the case exists, that it is the case named, that the page cited falls inside the opinion, and that a quotation says what the draft says it does. Statutes, regulations, court rules and links are checked too.

What it is not

It doesn’t generate. It does not write for you and cannot invent a case: it looks each citation up and shows you the source. It does not check Bluebook form, and it does not judge whether a case supports your argument. You still read the source; Loupe shows you where to look.

Teachers, librarians and clinics

The same plan, free. There is no teacher view of students’ work: each person sees only their own checks.

What happens to what you paste

Nothing you paste is kept unless you keep it in your account. There is no language model, and nobody’s writing trains anything.

How long it lasts

As long as you can sign in with your school address. Before you leave school, keep a copy of your work with “Download what we hold” in your account: when the address stops, so does signing in with it. If the plan ever pauses, nothing you kept is lost.

The one condition

It is for study and teaching. Work for clients needs a plan of its own.
